Description
Zonked Out, Brass Conehead — rabbit strip streamer with the water push and the profile fish can't leave alone.
The Zonked Out is our take on the conehead zonker — a pattern that has been catching big fish for four decades because it works. Rabbit strip wing that breathes and pulses through the strip, palmered saddle hackle collar that flares on the pause, painted eye conehead that gets it down and gives the fish something to target. The brass cone version sinks at a moderate rate — perfect for shallower rivers, ponds, and lakes where you want the fly working the middle column, not dredging bottom.
Fish it like you mean it. Cast to structure, let it drop, then strip it back in short aggressive pulls. Twitch it on the drop. Swing it across current. Big browns eat it. Bass hammer it. Snook and specks will crush it in the salt.
