Fred wasn't built for little fish.
The Bull Red Fred was designed by FINATICS Fly Company specifically with big redfish in mind — a full-profile baitfish-style streamer with plenty of movement, flash and enough weight to get into the zone.
Tied on a 1/0 Ahrex SA220 Streamer S/E, Bull Red Fred uses a strong, heavy-wire saltwater hook as the foundation for a fly intended for serious redfish. A Medium Lead Eye adds weight while keeping it more moderate than the heavily weighted Bull of the Bayou.
The head is built from our own FINATICS Couyon Dubbing, creating a full profile with plenty of movement. Long flowing fibers, flash and legs extend the silhouette and give the fly movement throughout the retrieve.
Like the rest of this series, Bull Red Fred is tied entirely with FINATICS Fly Company materials.
