I love it when you call me Big Moppa.

Big Moppa was built with one thing in mind: putting a big meal in front of a bull red without dropping a brick on its head.

Tied on a stout Ahrex SA220 Streamer S/E 1/0 hook, Big Moppa combines a large, full profile with FINATICS Bead Chain Eyes for a lighter presentation than our heavier bull redfish patterns. The bead chain gives the fly enough weight to get down while allowing for a softer entry when you're putting it in front of cruising reds.

And that head? That's where Big Moppa gets her name.

The head is built from FINATICS Mop Chenille, creating a thick profile with plenty of movement. FINATICS Craft Fur provides the flowing body and tail, while FINATICS Strung Hackle adds movement and helps give Big Moppa its larger profile.

A dose of FINATICS French Quarter Flash finishes it off with just enough flash to get noticed.
