I enjoy being different than my competitors and trying new things. One species I target more than any other is largemouth. They can be quite challenging depending on conditions and locations, making me tie different between scenarios. I truly believe that’s what makes me a great tyer.

I started tying when I was 14 years old, but I didn't really get serious until 2018. I dove into tying so I could save money on buying flies, but we tyers know the truth about that!I tie flies that are appealing to the fish and to the fisherman. There's something to be said about a well tied, well balanced, clean looking fly that catches our eye and swims right every time. That's what I aim to produce when I sit down at the bench. I'm most at home tying shrimp and crab patterns, but I love getting into bucktail deceivers, hollow ties and more.I'm a sight fishing junkie. Permit, redfish, stripers, bonefish, carp, etc. I also love throwing into albie blitzes, dredging a channel for big tarpon, matching the hatch on a river and throwing a tiny popper for sunfish. Honestly, I'll go after anything with a fly rod.

I have been tying flies for the past 13 years and tying commercially for the past 8 years. I like tying all types of flies but my true passion for fly-tying is saltwater and warmwater patterns. My greatest pleasure is tying patterns that are productive and catch fish. Weather targeting redfish in the marshes or bass and sunfish in the local ponds and carp in the canals in the area, I love tying flies that catch fish. I enjoy any opportunity that I have to teach people to tie flies. A lifelong resident of the New Orleans area, I have previously served on the Fly Fishers International Board of Directors and as President of the New Orleans Fly Fishers Club. I presently serve as President of the Gulf Coast Council of Fly Fishers International.I currently am on the pro-staff of Finatics Fly Company, R.L. Winston Rod Co. and Bauer Reels

I have tied flies for the past 12 years developing my style blending old school techniques and new materials for a variety of species, both saltwater and freshwater. I have lived and fished in the Southeast US along with the Pacific Northwest. I currently live in Southeast Louisiana, focusing my tying and fishing for gulf species and tying for local shops. I tie baitfish patterns along with shrimp and crab for pelagic species, large streamers for predatory species such as brown trout and pike.
I am currently on the pro staff for Finatics Fly Company, Nature’s Spirit Fly Tying, Temple Fork Outfitters, and UV Craft.
