Description
Squish Daddy — a crab-shrimp hybrid built to look like everything and nothing.
The Squish Daddy is a permit / bonefish / speckled trout crossover pattern that reads as either a small crab or a stunned shrimp depending on how you fish it. Epoxy head for a strong sink and jig action, marabou tail for lifelike movement, and a shot of flash so it pops even in cloudy flats water.
Tied on a Daiichi 2546 in size #6, the Squish Daddy fishes best with short strips and long pauses — let it fall, twitch it, let it fall again. Chartreuse for turbid water and low light, green for grass flats and clear conditions.
