Description
XL Gator Gurgler
When the bait is big and the predators are feeding aggressively, downsizing isn't the answer.
The XL Gator Gurgler was designed to move water, push a wake, and draw explosive surface strikes from the biggest fish in the system. Built on a stout Mustad 5/0 saltwater hook, this oversized topwater fly combines FINATICS Gator Gurgler Foam Bodies with flowing FINATICS Craft Fur to create a large-profile meal that predators simply can't ignore.
The oversized foam head creates the signature gurgling action that made this style of fly famous, while the long craft fur tail breathes and pulses naturally with every strip. Fish it with aggressive pops, long strips, or a steady waking retrieve depending on conditions and target species.
Originally designed for large saltwater predators, the XL Gator Gurgler has proven equally effective anywhere big fish are looking up. Whether you're targeting bull redfish in shallow marshes, stripers crashing bait schools, tarpon cruising the beach, jack crevalle, snook, pike, musky, or trophy largemouth bass, this fly delivers the profile and commotion needed to get noticed.
