Description
Venice Skeeter Crab – Finatics Fly Company
The Venice Skeeter Crab, designed by Finatics Pro Staff tyer Dirty Loaf, is a shallow-water specialist built to fool redfish, drum, and sheepshead in the marsh. Tied on a durable 1/0 hook with bead chain eyes, this fly lands soft, sinks naturally, and stays balanced even in skinny water.
With a laser-cut foam body, lifelike claws, and silicone legs for subtle movement, the Venice Skeeter Crab perfectly mimics the small crabs that tailing fish crush on Louisiana’s flats. The bead chain eyes add just enough weight to keep it in the strike zone without hanging in grass or shell.
Whether you’re sliding it into ponds around Venice, working oyster bars, or dropping it in front of a tailing red, this fly is built to get eaten.
