Description
Few would argue the prominence of the Wooly Bugger as one of the greatest fly patterns of all-time. It serves as a baseline for countless fly patterns, adding to the bugger’s effectiveness. The Rabbits Foot does just that, with more bulk to its profile and additional movement the classic pattern is lacking. A hook as sturdy as a Shaquille O’Neal post up, with a gap as wide as your weird cousin’s ear gauges, produces a hookset studier than a celebrity marriage. Keep a Rabbits Foot in your fly box for a little extra luck on the river or Saltwater.
This fly can be fished on a five weight and is perfect to be thrown on a slow day when dries and nymphs aren’t doing the trick.
