My Boy Blue – Skinny Strong Arm Crab- Mac Flies
Available in Size #2 and 1/0
You ever tie on a fly and know something’s about to get ruined? That’s My Boy Blue — a lean, mean, crabby little problem designed by Mac Flies and ready to cause emotional damage to tailing reds, permit, and even that one sheepshead that thinks it’s smarter than you.
This skinny-bodied Strong Arm Crab variation trims the fat but keeps the movement — with wiggly legs, a flashy tail, and enough color pop to get noticed without screaming “novice.” Whether you're sliding it through turtle grass, plopping it on mud flats, or sight-casting at push-poling heartbreak, My Boy Blue shows up ready for work.
✅ Built on #2 and 1/0 premium saltwater hooks – strong, sharp, and swims hook point up
✅ Streamlined crab profile – sinks fast, lands soft, kicks with attitude
✅ Weighted with small dumbbell eyes – perfect sink rate without the cinderblock splash
✅ Vivid contrast materials – trigger strikes even in cloudy water
✅ Hand-tied by Mac Flies – because mass-produced bugs are for tourists
Saltwater fish don’t eat boring. Tie on My Boy Blue and let ‘em meet the business end of a bad decision.
