Description
The MFC Borski’s Chernobyl Crab is a proven flats pattern built to create a strong profile and trigger aggressive eats from crab-feeding fish.
Designed by Borski and produced by MFC, this fly is known for its wide, buggy silhouette and natural materials that push water while maintaining a realistic presence on the bottom. The combination of movement and structure allows it to stay visible without looking unnatural, making it highly effective in shallow water scenarios.
Unlike smaller, more subtle crab patterns, the Chernobyl Crab is built to get noticed. It excels when fish are actively feeding and need a fly that stands out just enough to trigger a committed eat.
This is a confidence fly for targeting permit, redfish, and other flats species when crabs are on the menu and fish are ready to move.
