Description
The Crabby Patti is a versatile, all-around crab pattern built for consistent performance across a wide range of saltwater situations.
Tied on a Daiichi 2546 hook in size 1/0.
Designed with a balanced profile, natural movement, and moderate weight, this fly lands clean and settles quickly without spooking fish. The combination of textured dubbing, rubber legs, and subtle flash creates a realistic crab impression that works in both clear and slightly stained water.
Offered in two proven colorways—Blue Crab and Brown Crab—this pattern gives you the flexibility to match local forage or adjust to changing conditions.
Where it excels:
- Redfish on flats and marsh edges
- Permit in mixed bottom zones
- Transition water (grass, sand, shell)
- Anglers who want one crab pattern that covers multiple situations
Fish it slow, crawl it along bottom, or give it short strips—the Crabby Patti stays in the strike zone and looks right doing it.
This is your go-to crab when you don’t want to overthink it.
