Description
Time for a math problem: a zonker tail, plus articulation, plus a bulky reverse bucktail head pushing water, equals the Buckhead. The buck doesn’t stop here – oh no, it actually starts here, bucking as in life-like movement. This one is for the big fished obsessed fly bums out there who want to rip large streamers for the king of the fishery. Musky, pike, bass, and large trout are enticed by the second-to-none action from the Buckhead. Grab your cowboy hats, set your timer to eight seconds, and be ready to buck because we’re off to the big fish rodeo with this pattern.
Tied on # 4 with #2 trailer
The Buckhead is best fished with a sinking line with a stiff five-weight rod and up.
