An incredibly successful pattern for PERMIT, BONEFISH, and REDFISH. The AVALON is a larger shrimp pattern that is designed to resemble the larger shrimp seen in Southern Louisiana, Cuba, and some areas in the Bahamas.
This fly really hugs the bottom with lead eyes for quick sinking and keeps it crawling on the bottom. The AVALON FLY features a mono loop with beads on the bottom that helps keep the fly riding hook point up and adding a clicking noise that fish key in on!!!!
