Description
Peel-and-Eat Shrimp – Finatics Fly Company
Available in two sizes for any saltwater scenario, the Peel-and-Eat is a realistic shrimp imitation built for sight-fishing success on the flats:
-
Size 2 (Standard) – Approximately 2.5 inches long
-
Size 1/0 (XL) – Approximately 3 inches long
The Peel-and-Eat is a proven shrimp pattern designed for anglers who demand realism, durability, and performance. Built for shallow water redfish, speckled trout, snook, and bonefish, this fly lands soft, moves naturally, and fools pressured fish in clear or dirty water.
Hand-tied with premium synthetic materials, it features lifelike legs, subtle flash, and a clean shrimp profile that matches real forage. Weighted bead chain eyes give it a controlled sink rate for tailing fish in skinny water while maintaining a natural horizontal posture during the retrieve.
Color options include:
-
Tan – The universal shrimp color that catches fish anywhere
-
White – High visibility choice for sand flats and bright conditions
-
Purple – Confidence color that triggers reaction strikes in dirty or low-light water
Every Peel-and-Eat is tied on a saltwater barbed hook for superior hook penetration and holding power.
From Louisiana marsh reds to Florida snook and Caribbean bonefish, the Peel-and-Eat earns eats where other shrimp flies get ignored.
