Ehler’s Laser Minnow from Rainy’s is a compact 1/0 baitfish pattern that punches way above its weight. Built with a slim synthetic tail and a dense Laser-style head, this fly tracks straight, pushes just enough water, and flashes like a nervous shad or mullet trying not to get eaten.

The profile stays lean so it casts easily on modern 7–9 wt lines, but the big, lifelike eyes and translucent fibers give it a full, juicy look in the water.
