Description

Nature’s Spirit Grizzly Variant Schlappen – Soft, Webby Feathers for Streamers & Collars

For fly tyers who need long, webby feathers with bold natural barring, Nature’s Spirit Strung Variant Schlappen is an excellent choice. These 4.5 to 6.5-inch feathers are soft, flexible, and ideal for creating collars on steelhead, bass, and predator flies, adding lifelike movement and volume.

Each feather features distinctive black barring, giving your flies a natural contrast and a bold, fish-attracting profile. While primarily used for collars, many feathers in this selection are also perfect for palmering, making them versatile for tying everything from spey flies to large saltwater baitfish imitations.

  • Brand: Nature’s Spirit
  • Feather length: 4.5 to 6.5 inches
  • Weight per pack: 1/8 oz
  • Ideal for: Steelhead flies, bass streamers, saltwater baitfish patterns, and palmered body wraps
  • Soft, webby fibers with natural black barring for enhanced contrast and movement
